Quick Summary

We use cookies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and measure site usage in aggregate. We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles or to share your personal data with third-party advertisers. You can control or block cookies through your browser at any time.

1. What Cookies Are

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are used to make sites work, remember preferences, authenticate sessions, and measure usage.

The Finapolis site and platform use cookies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand performance in aggregate. We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles or share personal data with advertisers. Similar technologies referenced here include local storage, session storage, and pixels.

2. Cookies We Use

We group cookies into three categories:

  • Strictly necessary: session authentication, security tokens, and load balancing. Required for the platform to function.
  • Functional: remembering preferences such as UI state. Disabling these reduces convenience but does not break the platform.
  • Analytics: Google Analytics 4 (anonymized) and Microsoft Clarity (heatmaps and session replay, with input masking on by default) help us understand how the site is used.

3. Third-Party Cookies

Our analytics providers set third-party cookies:

  • Google Analytics 4 — e.g. _ga and _ga_*, used to distinguish users and sessions (up to 2 years); governed by Google's privacy policy.
  • Microsoft Clarity — e.g. _clck and _clsk, used for heatmaps and session replay with input masking enabled by default; governed by Microsoft's privacy policy.

We do not knowingly embed third-party advertising networks on the Finapolis website.

4. Managing Cookies

You can control cookies through your browser settings — block all or third-party cookies, delete cookies per session, or prompt before a cookie is set. Disabling strictly necessary cookies may prevent you from signing in or maintaining a session.

To opt out of Google Analytics, install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. To stop Microsoft Clarity session capture, block its cookies or use your browser's tracking controls.

5. Do Not Track

The "Do Not Track" (DNT) specification was not widely adopted and has been deprecated in most browsers, so our site does not respond differently to DNT signals. We honor the spirit of the request through our minimal cookie use and the opt-out mechanisms above, and we evaluate Global Privacy Control signals as standards evolve.

6. Updates to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy as our use of cookies evolves. The "Last updated" date reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated through the platform or by email.
